Submit your graduation petition with your academic counselor.
Place your regalia order online (link will be sent to your IVC email). Mandatory $75 non-refundable fee for commencement participation deadline: April 13th.
Make sure all fees are paid with the college & all information is up to date.

The 2024 Commencement Ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 8, 2024 and the college
will be hosting two ceremonies on this day.
IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES:
Mid-February: Check IVC student email account for regalia purchasing website.
APRIL 12, 2024: Deadline to submit a petition for graduation & participate in the
commencement ceremony.
APRIL 15, 2024: Deadline to purchase regalia to participate in the commencement ceremony.
No Exceptions.

The Event
Imperial Valley College's graduation ceremony is a time to highlight and celebrate
each member of the graduating class.
CEREMONY DETAILS:
When: Saturday, June 8, 2024
Time: Ceremony 1: 9:00 a.m. Ceremony 2: 2:00 p.m.
Location: Imperial Valley College, DePaoli Sports Complex, 700 Building
380 E. Aten Rd. Imperial, CA 92251
GRADUATION & COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY REQUIREMENTS:
Any student who plans on graduating within the 2023-2024 academic year & participate
in the commencement ceremony MUST submit a graduation petition with an academic counselor
AND purchase the regalia through IVC's vendor (purchasing your regalia through IVC's
vendor is the method to secure your participation in the commencement ceremony). After
submitting your petition for graduation, please check your IVC student email account
for commencement information. Please note that the cost of the regalia is a $75 non-refundable
fee.
REGALIA PACKAGE PICK UP DATES AND TIMES:
If you are an EOPS/CalWORKS program student, please see your program counselor to
place your order.
If for any reason you need to make special accommodations for your regalia package
pick up, please email studentaffairs@imperial.edu
Please be advised that you MUST have the following to pick up your package:
Student ID number (G number) Valid photo ID (student ID, driver's license, state issued ID)
ACCESSIBILITY: We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including
individuals with disabilities, to fully engage in our ceremonies. If you (the graduate)
or one of your guests require special accommodations (visual, auditory, mobility,
etc).
American Sign Language Interpreters will be on stage.
CLOSED CAPTIONING:
Closed captioning will be available for the hearing impaired via live stream.
DIPLOMA:
Diplomas are mailed to the address that the College has on record. All financial obligations
to IVC must be cleared before we can release your degree and/or certificate. Please
be sure to verify your address and check for any messages posted on your IVC student
account.
COMMENCEMENT INQUIRIES:
Students who wish to obtain further information in regards to the 2024 commencement
ceremony may contact the Student Affairs Office via email at studentaffairs@imperial.edu.
Please be advised that any and all commencement announcements will be sent to perspective
graduates via IVC student email account.
